The Strange Grooves Podcast

is about connecting and sharing the love of music, regardless of era or format.

The music we all love is the soundtrack to memories, and stories and, in many cases, changes the course of our lives and how we view the world. On Strange Grooves, we dig into life's deep cuts.

One night in 2017, Cherise and Cait decided to hang out, spin some vinyl, and hit record on their little zoom mic. They bonded over their tremendous love of classic rock, specifically The Stampeders. From there, the show continues interviewing guests worldwide with stories about how music affects our lives.

They believe music is an equalizer and a big part of mental health and well-being. They aim to connect people over the shared bond of music, sometimes even featuring facts and iconic stories from the source — the artists themselves.

Strange Grooves has become more than just a show; it’s become a community of people with curated events, experiences and memories.

There have been 150+ guests on the show, including Cannabis Pioneer Steve Deangelo, Performers Maestro Fresh Wes, The Stampeders, The Glorious Sons, Ken Tobias, and Matt Mays, among so many more. Strange Grooves has also featured many incredible people working in the industry, such as Laura Simpson of Sidedoor Access, Clyde Wray, and Much Music VJ Michael Williams, to name a few!

Cait and Cherise love talking to people about music. They also enjoy hanging out, spilling tea (or White Claws & Ginger Ale), and keeping it real. Just listen to an episode, and you’ll see what we mean.

They hope you enjoy the ride and that you Keep It Strange.<3
